
ADU Garage Conversion
Full permitted conversion of a 400 sq ft detached garage into a legal, rental-ready ADU — complete with kitchenette, full bath, separate entrance, and Title 24 compliance.
The clients wanted to convert their under-used detached garage into an income-generating Accessory Dwelling Unit. RAA handled the entire project end-to-end — from city permits and architectural drawings through to final inspection. Scope included foundation reinforcement, exterior wall insulation, new plumbing and electrical services, a full kitchenette with stove and apartment fridge, a three-quarter bath, and a separate entrance for complete privacy. The unit has been rental-active since completion.
